Welcome to the Camden Colts mini-site...its about time the future of Camden Cricket Club
had a place of their own, so here it is!
There are some important bits to this, that we suggest you read, but if you think of anything
you want to add then tell Michael at training/match days and we'll see about getting it on here.

Another successful Camden Family Fun Day on Sunday 12th July, our thanks to everyone who helped out on the day and with salads and puddings. Pictures of the day will be put up asap.The 2009 Camden Colts awards were given out on the day by our President Kevin O'Grady and they are as follows.
- U11 Player of the year - Charlie Wayne
- U12 Player of the year - Oscar Dixon
- U12 Most improved player - Sam Walsh
- U14 Player of the year - Dylan Speilman
- U14 Most improved player - David Dean
Finally thank you to Margaret Batley for being the reason we have a colts section, without her...well i dread to think. Please take the time to thank her if you get the chance....Thanks Mags!

In the early part of 2009 Will Sutton and Michael Griggs took and passed their Level 1 ECB Assistant Coaches courses, aswell as also taking courses in basic First Aid and Safeguarding and Protecting children.
09-06-09 Alex Raha has joined the coaching set-up on Tuesdays, Alex is a Level 2 coach and regularly plays for Camden adult teams on Saturday and Sunday.

Parents are always welcome to practise and games to watch the colts in action, plus if any budding reporters wish to submit a report of the game email it here.Pembroke College Sports ground will host some colts games this year as well as all of the Camden 1st XI Games. On Granchester Road in Cambridge, it's amongst several sports grounds including Cambridge Rugby Club, making it one of the most peaceful and idyllic places to play cricket in Cambridge. Emmanuel College Sports ground will also host some colts games this year as well as all of the Camden 2nd XI Games. On Wilberforce Road in Cambridge, down Adams road behind Trinity Old Field it is surrounded with streets of Art Deco housing and a Pavilion full of History. Use postcode CB3 0EQ for SAT-NAV.

Hills Road/Sedley Taylor Road Cricket Ground, have hosted several games during previous seasons.

Hills Road Sports Centre have a very good indoor cricket facility should you wish some extra curricular practise.
Previously used by Camden as our winter net, is has 2 nets, a bowling machine and a viewing area. Find details and directions here. Hills Road Sports Centre
